In addition, she was recognized as a CE Pro Master in their Class of 2020.

Prior to founding Roberta Lewis & Associates, Roberta held the position of Executive Vice President and V.P. of Sales and Marketing for United Speaker Systems / Phase Technology, a privately held, 50-year-old domestic speaker and OEM-manufacturer based in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. Lewis joined United Speaker Systems in August 2001 and was responsible for domestic and international sales and marketing (2001- 2005) for Phase Technology and USS OEM Business Development. During her tenure, dealers, and sales revenue more than doubled. The business was sold in 2005.

Prior, Ms. Lewis served as Executive VP and Chief Marketing Officer to CE Internet Marketing pioneer; Los Angeles based Knowledglinks, Inc., d.b.a. www.getplugged.com. As the industry’s first CE collaborative Internet marketing portal. The company provided channel-market solutions for manufacturers and their dealers, offering turnkey online marketing management, customer referrals, and sales (1999-2001) for 70+ of the top U.S. specialty retailers and brands as Sony, Bose, Klipsch, Yamaha and others. A decade before its time, GP.com raised 6M in V-capital to build a Internet marketplace within the CE specialty channel recognized by Forbes as a business to watch.

Ms. Lewis spent the first 19-years of her career at Texas-based Home Entertainment, Inc., a 40-year-old, privately held specialty A/V retail chain with seven specialty electronics stores in Houston and Dallas. Home Entertainment, Inc. was consistently ranked a Top Ten US Retailer by Audio Video International, and highly regarded by the industry as the dominant dealership in Texas. When the Tweeter Home Entertainment Group acquired Home Entertainment in 1999, Lewis and her
management team and staff of 200+ had grown sales from $8M to $25M in just eight years. Tweeter Home Entertainment Group appointed Lewis as Vice President over the Texas Region, as well as National Custom Installation Manager for the multi-million-dollar chain. In conjunction with Home Entertainment, the corporation owned a professional audio/video sales (15M) business; Industrial Audio Video serving the Pro AV market, which Lewis co-managed as Exec. V.P. for this wholly owned subsidiary.

Ms. Lewis was elected and voluntarily served as the President of the Professional Audio/Video Retailers Association (PARA) with over 400+ U.S. retail business members from 1998-1999, and prior to that served as the group’s elected vice president (1997-98).
