Work Orders

Work Order Task List

Above is a Work Order Task List. Some important features to note in this screen shot are detailed information that you are able to store with SmartOffice. In the upper left corner the client name and work order number are listed. Then text boxes are provided for a detailed description and a list of equipment needed. This information gets automatically generated to the standard work order that can either be printed or emailed to staff members with just the click of a button, as you can see to the right of the equipment text box. Set the date and time and then assign staff members to the job. Below the general information about the work order, you can then enter the details. Describe what needs to be done, in which room, the type of labor, whether this is billable and the allocate labor. Labor allocation sets goals for your team, by comparing the actual labor with the time allotted will provide you with an early warning that the project may risk going over budget. Work Orders are directly integrated with the Scheduling feature of SmartOffice. When a Work Order is generated the schedule is updated automatically.
