SmartOffice’s Proposal feature is a powerful tool, allowing your team to create accurate, professional looking proposals that are fast and easy to generate. Beyond just making proposals, SmartOffice will integrate this information with the rest of the software, making it easy to generate progress billing statements, purchase orders, material pick lists and dimension sheets. SmartOffice can track customer billing throughout the job and provide an up-to-date snapshot of customer payments and charges. Further, you can generate cash flow forecasts by linking each phase to material expenses and progress payments. SmartOffice truly is an all-in-one solution, from prospects to fulfillment.
SmartOffice provides the option to communicate with pictures by adding product graphics to your proposals, or to the proposal cover. Many times product names and descriptions convey little to potential customers, make your proposals understandable by showing clients what you are doing, rather than just telling them. Once a graphic is added to the product database, it is automatically included in future proposals featuring that item. Use the built in Google Image Search button to easily swap in new pictures. Use your company’s logo on the cover sheet and throughout the proposal to create brand awareness.
Another feature of the Proposals function is the calculation of labor for each item. When engineering a proposal, the system calculates labor in the background for each product or service sold. Options include: adding labor to an item to show an installed price, listing labor separately at the end of the proposal, or setting fixed labor charges for a project.
System QuickSpec
With System QuickSpec you can quickly generate a proposal by selecting from predetermined, regularly purchased products for each room or zone. Create item groups that can easily be added, save and store them for later use.

Customizable
Organize how to display your proposal; group items by category or installation area, place the zones and disciplines in the order in which you want them to appear. Choose from many different layouts and set-ups for your proposal. Customize by adding your own company logo.
