On-line Live One-on-One Training
In order to serve our subscribers, Tom will initially hold a discussion with the SmartOffice subscriber's owners and/or managers to get an understanding of how the software will be utilized and who has been tasked with it's implementation.
The course begins with setting preferences and an education on the software's flow. The first two hours covers setting preferences, user privileges, understanding the various contact management functions, setting up products in the database, implementing the three "Power Tools" (Product Assemblies, QuickSpecs, and Product Packages) and the strategy for their success, and an introduction to (APD) Advanced Proposal Design.
Continuing forward the second session typically picks up at APD and works through the back office and project management functions. From the point a proposal is accepted and becomes a project we develop the necessary skills to request product, create gantt charts, create and schedule work orders, receive product and deliver it to the client, enter actual labor times to provide job costing, and create invoices.
QuickBooks is presented in its own session with the appropriate members of your organization. Setup is covered as well as strategies for how you and your accountant want to handle the financial information for your specific organization.
SRS Draw training provides an in depth understanding of the software for the purposes of communicating the designers intention to the installation and programming team assisting in delivering what was promised to the client. Here we cover how to create symbols, discuss the different drawings such as PlanView, Pictorial, Block Schematic, Elevations, and Racks.
Additional time may be purchased as necessary. The topics can be tailored and focused to your specific needs. Call Tom @ 617-731-0113 extension 110 to discuss your specific training needs.
